Hi all, glad this site is still here and running.
I have found an engine from 1979 with only 60hrs use for $1200
I intend to buy it and replace my tired 1979 with it.
Aside from a compression test and bench start is there anything else I should look out for ?
If u get it running check for weeping at the weep hole located bottom of water pump. Cam seals fail and antifreeze will drip out the weep hole to let u know.
